Aqualis ASA : Aqualis Offshore signs contract with Saudi Aramco
17 September 2014 – Aqualis Offshore, part of Aqualis ASA, has signed a rig moving services contract with Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest energy company. The contract value is undisclosed.
Under the deal, offshore marine and engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore will provide offshore rig moving services over the next three years for Saudi Aramco’s jack-up rigs operating in the Arabian Gulf.
“We may be a young company, but our team consist solely of highly experienced personnel with 10-30 years’ offshore experience. This experience has secured this prestigious and strategically important contract,” says David Wells, CEO of Oslo-listed Aqualis ASA.
Aqualis Offshore will support Saudi Aramco with rig moving services and personnel from Aqualis Offshore’s offices in the Middle East region.
Since starting operations in 2013, AqualisBraemar has already set up operations in ten countries worldwide.
