About
Guoyang has over 18 years’ experience in loadout (by winch, SPMT, strand jacks and pull/push units, float-on/off), transportation and offshore installation for various heavy structures by lift, launching and float-over etc., subsea pipeline/cable installation and wind farm foundation and turbine installation. Since joining ABL China in 2011, he has been involved in many important projects in China, such as Lingshui 17-2 gas field development project, LF14-4 and LF15-1 oil field development. His role on the MWS projects includes project coordination, documents review, vessel suitability survey, site attendance on the loadout, seafastening and offshore installation. Now he is the MWS Operation Manager in ABL China.
Before joining ABL Group China, Liu Guoyang worked in China Offshore Oil Engineering Company for eight years as a site engineer, design engineer and was promoted as loadout, transportation and installation manager of PL19-3II project, CFD11 WHPG and WHPD project.
Liu Guoyang holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China.
