Our History
Dating back to 1856 with The Salvage Association, ABL Group has evolved over time through strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A) of like-minded companies, who share in our purpose and values.
The Salvage Association (SA) is founded.
London Offshore Consultants (LOC) was founded.
Longitude Engineering was established as an independent engineering, design & analysis branch of LOC.
Braemar acquires BMT Marine and Offshore Surveys (incorporating The Salvage Association).
Aqualis Offshore is established opening offices in London, Oslo, Houston, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore and Dubai.
Aqualis Offshore acquires Offshore Wind Consultants (OWC).
Trading begins on Oslo Bors stock exchange.
Innosea joins LOC.
AqualisBraemar forms when Aqualis acquires Braemar Technical Services.
ABL is formed by merging AqualisBraemar and LOC.
ABL acquires geoscience consultancy East Point Geo.
ABL expands expert services in asset integrity management & OPEX services with acquisition of Add Energy.
AGR and Delta Wind Partners join ABL Group.
ABL Group acquires
Ross Offshore.
ABL Group acquires Hidromod.
