Christoph Grams

Christoph is a Master Mariner with over 13 years of experience in the maritime industry. He has spent two years in the oil and gas (O&G) sector, involved in exploration towing world largest moving objects in 3D and 4D seismic surveys. He spent seven years in the renewables sector involved in the construction and operations and maintenance (O&M) phases of offshore wind farms. In his maritime career, has sailed and carried out operations on container vessels, heavy lift vessels, DP2 as well as DP2 Jack-up Vessels (JUVs).

With an exceptional aptitude for Dynamic Positioning (DP), Christoph has played a pivotal role in the offshore industry. His in-depth knowledge and proficiency in DP systems have been instrumental in ensuring the precise positioning and navigation of vessels in a variety of challenging environments. This expertise has not only facilitated the successful execution of projects but also enhanced safety measures to the highest standards.

Furthermore, Christoph’s contributions extend to the implementation and management of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) protocols of critical systems onboard specialized vessels.

Christoph sailed as DPO/HLO on heavy lift jack-up vessel “INNOVATION” with her exemptional proven track record in Monopile Installations and jacking cycles. Extensive experience in loadouts and installations for MP/nacelles/towers and blades.

In addition to his offshore accomplishments, Christoph has an impressive track record of commissioning diverse vessel types, including Coast Guard ships, coastal patrol vessels, and mega yachts. His extensive knowledge of vessel systems, coupled with his commitment to regulatory compliance and quality control, has consistently yielded successful outcomes.

Before joining ABL Group, he worked at Deme Offshore Belgium, Acta Marine NL, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement Germany, Polarcus DMCC in Dubai.
