About
Ivan is a Master Mariner with 18 years of seagoing experience on coastal vessels around Europe, including container ships and later as a master on platform supply vessels. During his time on PSVs, he gained valuable experience in operating DP2 vessels and was involved in the design and taking delivery of new builds. Ivan went ashore in 2014 and has since worked as a marine surveyor for major marine consultancies in Asia. He has conducted prepurchase inspections for owners and carried out casualty investigations on behalf of Insurers, P&I Clubs and H&M.
Ivan specialises in towage, marine warranty surveys, and DP2 operations and has acted as a marine representative for numerous offshore anchor barge moves. He is a full member of the Society of Offshore Marine Warranty Surveyors.
