About
Sarthak is a Senior Naval Architect at ABL Germany office.
His working experience is focused on engineering activities involved in marine transportation and offshore installation operations. Additionally, he has gained significant experience in concept, basic and detailed design engineering of offshore assets, such as float over and launch barges, self-propelled and self-elevating units, fixed platforms, etc.
During his professional career spanning 10 years, he has gained in-depth technical knowledge of transportation and installation activities such as, load-outs, jacket launch, deck floatover, heavy lifting, moorings, etc., within oil & gas, and renewables industry. He has also worked on structural engineering activities including complex finite element checks.
He possesses experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, which is backed by solid technical fundamentals, and innovative and solution-oriented thinking.
Prior to joining ABL Germany, he has worked as Senior Naval Architect with an EPCI company, McDermott in Kuala Lumpur, where he worked on installation engineering of some of the heaviest and most complex platforms of modern era within oil and gas industry and was previously he was with 2H Offshore as well as Green Palm Marine Consultancy within Malaysia.
