Offshore Wind
ABL Group has been at the forefront of offshore wind development since the early days. Whether through OWC – the world’s first dedicated offshore wind consultancy – or ABL acting as marine warranty surveyor (MWS) on some of the world’s first offshore wind farms, we have expertise across more than 330 offshore wind projects in more than 35 markets. Our expertise spans both bottom-fixed and floating, and we continue to evolve our comprehensive service offering to support offshore wind from concept to operations.
Onshore Wind
OWC brings together reputable expertise in technical advisory, engineering and consulting in onshore wind, supporting more than 200 projects and over 50 GW of capacity. We provide independent engineering, technical due diligence and lender’s technical advisory services, owner’s engineering, and a wide range of technical studies.
Solar PV
OWC via its French counterpart, Innosea, is a pioneer in he development of floating solar PV, offering a comprehensive package of front-end engineering, design and advisory services to support the innovation and construction of this growing technology. We have also worked across more than 60 onshore solar PV sites, providing our full range of technical advisory, engineering and consultancy expertise.
Energy Storage
As renewable energy development accelerates at pace across much of the world, energy storage solutions (ESS) are crucial to balancing supply and demand to mitigate against the variability of green energy production. OWC provides multi-disciplined engineering and energy expertise to support the technology development of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and hydrogen infrastructure projects.
