12 years experience in maritime vessel operation for various types of ship (general cargo ship, bulk carrier, container ship). Familiar with ship handing and ship management systems. Experienced with various maritime vessel regulations (STCW/ISM/ISPS/MLC/MARPOL etc.). Familiar with ship structure and cargo, especially IMDG.
Has undertaken Marine Consultancy and Surveying on behalf of P&I Clubs, Admiralty lawyers, Ship-owners and Insurance interests in matters concerning shipping and offshore activities.
Performed a wide range of surveys, including damage, condition/suitability, on/off hire, and pre-purchase on tugs, barges, bulk carriers, general cargo, and container vessels for P&I Clubs, Charterers, ship owners and insurance interests.
Marine Warranty Surveyor and Marine Surveyor on numerous offshore and onshore projects, approving offshore operations on behalf of underwriters and providing marine advice to shipping companies, constructors, installation contractors and underwriters/reinsurances.
