Nikiforos is a naval architect/marine engineer with over 18 years of experience in the marine engineering sector, working primarily in Asia, Europe and the Middle East as a marine and offshore surveyor, subject-matter-expert, drydocking and major projects superintendent.
Specialised in managing major CAPEX projects and working with shipyards Worldwide – retrofit Energy Saving Devices, hull coating technologies, BWTS technologies, dual-fuel engines, and asphalt tankers.
Has extensive experience conducting surveys of all types of commercial vessels as well as offshore support vessels. In particular, operations and maintenance of asphalt tankers/bitumen carriers as superintendent engineer as well as heavy crude – boscan crude, high flashpoint, tanker operations and maintenance.
